July 26th, 2018 – 10 Holocaust survivors from Hadera visited the March of Life Villa in Caesarea. Together with two American and one German volunteer, they enjoyed the interaction and food in the Shalom House and talked about their lives. Most of the 10 Holocaust survivors were very young children when the war began. Each individual is a living miracle; one survivor told how her mother found her and her sisters in all the confusion of the war in Leningrad in the children’s home by “accident”.
At the end of their visit the group wrote in the guestbook of the Villa warm words of appreciation, and indicated that they wish to be invited to Shalom House more often.
