December 23rd, 2018 – Over 200 youths from the Kanot boarding school/youth village have been blessed with amazing Adidas/Reebok sportswear and shoe donations. Most of these youths come from difficult socioeconomic backgrounds and are from all over Israel, some come from very broken families and were not given a very good start at life.
Their soccer coach Itzik said that at the school, they receive a second chance and are given the attention and the tools they need to succeed at life, through sports and education.

The day after the Helping Hand Coalition for Israel (עמותת יד לעזרה ישראל) came to deliver the precious sportswear items, Itzik said that he and the teachers were flooded with WhatsApp messages of gratitude, tears in some cases, from the youths who received brand new shoes and sportswear. He said “we had no idea what good we did to these kids”, who range from 12 to 17 years old.

The excitement during the distribution was tangible, and this memorable event was made possible, thanks to GAiN Germany for shipping such incredible goods. A huge thank you to Germany and to Adidas/Reebok for blessing all these precious youth!
