March 16th, 2019 – Couples from Germany who have been a part of GAiN Sponsorship Program came to Israel to visit the Holocaust survivors in Netanya that they have been supporting and writing to for years, together with representatives of Helping Hand Coalition for Israel (עמותת יד לעזרה ישראל).
For both sponsors and “their” survivors in is an essential part of their relationship, in addition to exchanging letters, to meet face to face, and they all always look forward to it. It is a great and exciting privilege to witness the amazing interaction between people of both nations that have such a heavy past/history. These precious times are made possible thanks to the GAiN Sponsorship Program that supports hundreds of Holocaust survivors nationwide.
