May 13th, 2020 –  Thanks to the generous donations of local Israeli anonymous sponsors, who work with Helping Hand Coalition for Israel, two families from Ashdod were blessed with financial donations: large grocery purchase for one and grocery card and a laptop for the second family.
The laptop became a necessity when the son could not resume attending school due to his mother’s poor health status and has to be home schooled online, so his mother’s health will not be endangered.

Needless to say, both families were beyond happy for such generous support that came at such a difficult time.

Other donors helped families in need and disabled individuals with gift grocery cards for shopping in the cities of Ashkelon, Bat Yam, Petach Tikva and Or Akiva, donated through Helping Hand Coalition. With the Corona virus crisis, reduced allowance and insurance payouts and increase in prices, many struggle to have the ends meet and are grateful for the support.
