October 21st, 2020 – While the nation of Israel was in the midst of a severe, prolonged lockdown with a harsh financial impact on many, Helping Hand Coalition for Israel was relentlessly providing financial help in the form of grocery cards to dozen more families in need, disabled with serious health issues, single parent families, etc., in the cities of Beersheva, Ashdod, Rehovot, Holon, Bat Yam, Rishon leZion, Nof ha-Galil and more cities.
Thanks to the generosity of local Helping Hand Coalition sponsors, more financial support is donated to single parents families like this one in Ashdod. The extra finances really help with grocery shopping and basic expenses. The individuals are sending their appreciation and love to their anonymous sponsors.
Earlier in the month, a new immigrant family with 7 children, living in Nof ha-Galil received once again financial help thanks the generosity of local Israeli sponsors, who donated through the Helping Hand Coalition. Ludmila went grocery shopping the same day to purchase food for her family with the gift cards she received. She sent so many thank you messages the day after to her sponsors.
The first and second picture below are of a single parent family of 5 children that were quarantined at home for 2 weeks and were starting to run out of food. With this grocery card that was delivered at their door, they were able to order food online and receive the groceries at their home front step.The third picture is also a picture of a single mother of 2 who lost her husband to cancer a few months ago and really struggles to have the ends meet. A huge thanks to all the Helping Hand Coalition for Israel sponsors who are behind those donations at such a crucial hour.
