February 17th, 2021 – Thanks to Jewish Voice International and Christen an der Seite Israels, many individuals and families in need, disabled with all kinds of serious health issues, have been blessed with gift grocery cards for shopping, in Haifa, Ashdod, Bat Yam, Netanya and more cities.
Natalia (last picture) is the mother of 2 young children. She lost her husband to cancer last year, and has cancer herself and is unable to work at this point. She also had the Corona virus this last fall, thankfully she recovered. She is in a tough financial and health state and was very grateful for the care of American sponsors of Helping Hand Coalition for Israel. Also, Marina (before the last picture) has serious blood issues and the cost of her treatment alone is 850nis per month, almost half of what she gets from government pension. For these struggling individuals and families, this support is so critical, since in most cases their health does not allow them to work or make a decent living, and the government support they live on barely covers the rent. A big thanks to JVMI and C4I for caring for those in need in Israel.
Many more partners of Helping Hand Coalition for Israel and sponsors from the USA and Scandinavia and local donors are giving funds destined to help disadvantaged families, survivors of the Holocaust, the disabled and individuals dealing with serious sicknesses and financial stress, nationwide. Individuals in Ashdod, Rehovot, Ashkelon, Nof Ha-Galil, Petach Tikva were blessed with financial aid for grocery shopping. Special thanks to Radiant Group For donating part of the funds through the Helping Hand Coalition. One mother, while receiving the help, said she doesn’t know how else she could have survived dealing with the current situation on top of all the daily family challenges and difficulties.
