Being Blessed in a Tough Season

February 18th, 2021 – In Netanya, hundreds of Victims of the Holocaust, WWII Refugees, new immigrants from Ukraine, Ethiopia, India and many others who live on the lines of poverty, have been and will be receiving brand new comfortable sports shoes and clothing in the heart of a tough winter and a season that is hard for most in more ways than one. One of recipients of the gift reflected how handy it was for all of them and how grateful they were for the care and for a time out after a protracted lock up. With shops closed and not everyone being able to order online, this gift comes right on time and is a blessing. Both the elderly and other individuals in need will enjoy going for walks in these very comfortable shoes and clothing.

The precious goods were delivered by the Helping Hand Coalition for Israel to local partner Mila Fleitman, head of the organization “Survivors of Disaster for a Brighter Future”, and a special member of the Global Forum.

Earlier in the month, similar donation was made to Ezra leOlim organization in Nof Ha-Galil. A huge thanks to GAiN Germany for shipping such high-quality goods and to our local partners Joseph Project for handling all the logistics of bringing the precious donation into Israel. Amazing team work!
