February 10th, 2025 – Thanks to the generosity of Helping Hand Coalition sponsors from England, more financial support for shopping in the form of grocery cards was brought to the families from kibbutz Kfar Aza, who were directly affected by the October 7th massacre.
To these days, resident of Kfar Aza are still refugees in their own country.
After the massacre, most of the kibbutz members were evacuated to Shayiim (central Israel), and three months ago, more than half of them began moving into temporary housing that was being built especially for them by the Tekuma administration, the JNF, and the Settlement Division in Kibbutz Ruchamah. These are two neighborhoods with 184 “caravans”, public buildings, a school, and kindergartens. Some of the temporary homes, which are not yet ready, are intended for the five kidnapped people (some of which returned in this last month hostage deal): Emily Damari, Doron Steinbracher, Keith Siegel, and the brothers Gali and Ziv Berman.
All the residents who were present at the meeting with Helping Hand Coalition expressed their gratitude to HHC and their sponsors for caring in such practical ways and send their warmest greetings to their international friends.
