March 2nd, 2025 – A truly special moment as a group of 20 visitors from the USA met with Yaakov Liberman, an 86-year-old Holocaust survivor from Jerusalem, alongside his wonderful daughter, Miri Liberman.
Yaakov shared his powerful and heartbreaking testimony—from witnessing Nazi soldiers march into his hometown in two columns, to Jews being rounded up, to hiding in a neighbor’s basement while Nazis shot at the floor above. His story is one of resilience, survival, and the importance of never forgetting.
A huge thank you to Yaakov and Miri for sharing their story and to this amazing group from the USA for honoring and preserving the memories of survivors of the Holocaust. Now, more than ever, we must keep their voices alive.
