May 8th, 2025 – Thanks to the generosity of local sponsors of Helping Hand Coalition for Israel, more financial support for grocery shopping in the form of grocery cards was brought to Jessica who became a widow after the October 7th events.
Jessica is a resident of Kfar Aza who was till recently evacuated at the Shfayim hotel in central Israel. This past winter, she moved back to Southern Israel after a year of being evacuated. She is currently living in a small mobile home/ tiny house at the Ruchama kibbutz, near Sderot. This past year has not been easy and she more than appreciates the support and care that she has been receiving.
Jessica is 36 years old and has 2 young children.
There were 120 other families like hers from the Kfar Aza kibbutz staying at the Shfayim hotel.
Jessica’s husband Nadav fought and died fighting Hamas. He was defending the kibbutz. Luckily she was out of town at her parents with her children when her house was raided by Hamas terrorists and destroyed.
She was very happy to receive the financial support.
