July 13th, 2025 – Rocket sirens can still be heard at times in the South.
In the midst of the ongoing war, WWII ghetto survivors and victims of the Holocaust from the long-suffering city of Sderot were so happy to be receive financial support in the form of the gift grocery cards, thanks to GAiN Germany.
While almost all residents have gone back to their homes, peace, calm and quietness are yet to return. Our friends share that their nights are very difficult, as they can hear the fighting and explosions happening in Gaza. It brings a lot of stress and bad memories back.
Everyone is still hoping that security will return to the South soon. And receiving financial support in the midst of such challenging times feels very special indeed.
