September 11th, 2025 – Iris is a single mother and has twin daughters, 15 years old. She is disabled, with chronic leg disease and has been living off her disability allowance. Just recently she finished paying the loan for an old apartment, where she’s been living for 20 years. And then the war with Iran started. The missile hit was terrifying. The building was old and had no bomb shelter. The three of them were in the staircase when the shock wave from a nearby hit severely damaged the building.

Their apartment was greatly damaged. Till recently they were staying in a Tel Aviv hotel, and in mid-August finally moved to a rented apartment. They had nothing to furnish the place.
