Shalom House – Ballet Magnificat!’s Last Performance

On April 24th, Ballet Magnificat! concluded their twelve-day tour across Israel with a grand finale at Helping Hand Coalition’s Caesarea headquarters. The event was attended by international guests and twenty survivors of the Holocaust from Beit Ham in Or Akiva, led by Sofia. It was a truly remarkable Shalom House that touched the hearts of all attendees and paid tribute to those no longer with us ahead of Israel’s Remembrance Day (Yom HaZikaron). 

Ashkelon Mobility and Eye Clinic

On January 22-27, a team of 21 American specialists came to Israel to conduct a week-long mobility and eyeglass clinic in Ashkelon. The clinic helped over 900 Holocaust survivors, veterans, disabled individuals, and those in need!

Asia Pacific for Israel Event in Jerusalem

On November 27th, Helping Hand Global Forum hosted a joyful celebration of life, unity, and reconciliation at the Grand Court Hotel in Jerusalem. Organized by an Asia-Pacific group, the event began at the entrance of the hotel, where two hundred survivors from The Jerusalem Society for Holocaust Survivors were welcomed with cheers, waving flags, and dancing.

Shalom House – Angels of Music

On May 30th, Helping Hand Coalition opened its headquarters in Caesarea to two groups of survivors of the Holocaust. Arriving from Ashdod and Hadera, the forty-four survivors wore bright smiles in anticipation of what the afternoon would bring. Gracing the villa with his anointed music, a renowned concert violinist blew the audience away with a performance to remember. Also present were Jeff Shelton with his group and Harald Eckert, Director of Christen an der Seite Israels. 

Shalom House – Remembrance & Reunion

May 4th was a day of remembrance and reunion as Helping Hand Coalition hosted a Shalom House event to honor Israel’s fallen soldiers and victims of terrorism and welcome the return of the GAiN Germany team. Inviting twenty-two survivors of the Holocaust from Netanya, led by Rita Liberman, to HHC’s Caesarea Headquarters, the event made sure to respect Yom HaZikaron (Day of Remembrance) while also recognizing the survivors’ role in Israel’s independence!
