October 22nd, 2017 – Throughout the entirety of the Jewish fall holiday season (from Rosh haShana to Sukkhot), hundreds of WWII refugees, ghetto survivors and victims of the Holocaust have been blessed with holiday gift cards for their grocery shopping. Our volunteers went to the survivors’ homes, community centers and organizations that care for survivors to bring them this precious gift and to wish them happy celebrations. The smiles and the gratitude in the eyes of these elderly people is enough reward.

What a great joy and honor to be a part of these peoples’ lives and to be able to bring them visits and financial support on a regular basis thanks to GAiN Germany and their GAiN Sponsorship Program through Helping Hand Coalition for Israel (עמותת יד לעזרה ישראל). Much love from all the cities that were blessed with the support – Ashdod, Sderot, Ofakim, Rehovot, Rishon, Netanya, Or Akiva, Beer Sheva and many more.
