August 12th, 2020 – Helping Hand Coalition for Israel has started delivering a huge donation of grocery cards to enable the Survivors of the Holocaust to do grocery shopping for the forthcoming fall holidays that begin next month.

Elderly in Sderot, Ofakim, Rishon leZion and Rehovot received their donation, thanks to GAiN Sponsorship Program.

Representatives of Helping Hand Coalition for Israel were met with smiles and many thankful expressions of gratitude for remembering the survivors during these difficult days. Most of them are cut off from any visits, even by close family members, because of being a high-risk group. Many told us that on the backdrop of the epidemic and being unable to go out as before, their state of health and mind went down. The elderly cheered up seeing friendly familiar faces at their doors.
