January 19th, 2024 – Helping Hand Coalition for Israel was able to bring financial support to 12 widowed ladies from Kfar Aza who faced the horrors of October 7th, 2023.
Their husbands were killed, and one of the widows was kidnapped and only recently released from Gaza.
Most of these widows’ homes were destroyed by the terrorists, and they still haven’t received any financial compensation from the government.
The first two pictures below are of Jessica and Sharon from Kfar Aza, who have evacuated to the Shfayim Hotel. They will likely be there at least until the end of the school year.
Sharon is 56 years old and has four children. Her youngest is 17 years old.
Jessica Timmer is 35. She has two young children.
Like them, 120 families are staying at their hotel.
Jessica’s husband Nadav fought and died fighting Hamas. He was defending the kibbutz. Luckily, she was out of town at her parents with her children when her house was raided by Hamas terrorists and destroyed.
Sharon’s husband was in charge of the kibbutz security team and was killed, among many others, while defending the kibbutz from terrorist infiltration.
All the ladies who received the financial support were deeply touched by the donation and the care of the sponsors of Helping Hand Coalition.
