May 10th, 2024 – The event took place at the “Museum of the Jewish fighter in World War II” named after President Chaim Herzog in Latrun.

A ceremony by the Israeli Ministry of Aliyah and Integration.

The participants included:

• The President of the State of Israel, Mr. Yitzhak Herzog
• The Minister of Immigration and Absorption, MK Ofir Sofer
• Major General (res.) Haim Erez is Chairman of the Museum of the Jewish Fighter in World War II and co-founder of the Helping Hand Global Forum board member.
• additional government and municipality leaders,
• hundreds of WWII veterans & disabled individuals,
• leaders of WWII organizations
• Helping Hand Coalition Global Forum & Helping Hand Coalition for Israel representatives
• During the event, unique words and dedications were shared by all speakers for Avraham Greenzeid, Chairman of the Veterans Union of World War II – Fighters Against Nazism and Honorable President of the Helping Hand Global Forum, who had sadly passed away one month earlier on April 8, 2024, in his 99th year of life.
