June 3rd, 2024 – The Hadassa Neurim boarding school near Hadera received top quality sports shoes as well as elegant polos for their 420 residents and students (aged from 13 to 20), many of whom come from difficult socio-economic backgrounds.

Slava Novak, local educator, said that we have no idea how excited the local youths have been each time Helping Hand Coalition for Israel visits and brings amazing donations from GAiN Germany. Many of the youths attending the school, sports and training programs, and living on site, do not have enough to afford nice sportswear or even shoes, and greatly depend on donations during the period of their studies.

The school also hosts numerous Ukrainian war refugees and young new immigrants from the former USSR, who came alone to Israel without their families.

The boarding school mission is to provide the young ones with all the tools and opportunities that they were not given by their own families or surrounding to succeed in life and leave this place with a clear vision and direction for their lives.
