June 3rd, 2024 – The Kfar Hassidim boarding school near Haifa received top quality sports shoes as well as elegant polos, for their 360 residents and students (aged from 13 to 18), many of whom come from very difficult socio-economic backgrounds.

Benny Swissa, one of the school directors said that we have no idea how blessed the local youths have been each time Helping Hand Coalition for Israel visits and brings amazing donations from GAIN Germany. Many of the youths attending the school, sport and training programs, and living on site do not have enough to afford nice sportswear or even shoes, and greatly depend on donations during the period of their studies.

The school also hosts numerous Ukrainian war refugees and young new immigrants from the former USSR who came alone to Israel without their families.

The boarding school mission is to provide the young ones with all the tools and opportunities that they were not given by their own families to succeed in life and leave this place with a clear vision and direction for their lives.
