July 3, 2024

On July 3, 2024, the Shalom House group from Or Akiva gathered at a charming seaside café in Caesarea. What began as a relaxing morning quickly became a meaningful time of fellowship.
Some shared their life history and how they survived World War 2, while others talked about finding comfort and peace by putting their trust in God during these difficult days. Ilana uplifted everyone with her author’s beautiful verses about the sea, bringing a sense of calm.
Bozena concluded with powerful words from Psalm 144, reflecting on David’s relationship with God, which can serve us as a daily example.
Each Holocaust survivor present was a living testament to the power of life, optimism, and inner beauty.
