November 20th, 2024 – Even during challenging times for Israel, there are still German guests visiting and interacting with the survivors of the Holocaust they support through the GAiN Sponsorship Program.

So much joy and emotion could be felt from both sides. The elderly felt so special to have their international friend coming to their house to meet them in person and spend time with them, and bring them beautiful blanket handmade by Gleanings for the Hungry, California. The sponsor was happy to see the survivors doing well and smiling in spite of this hard period of time.
