The Shalom House Meeting in Caesarea: Unity, Gratitude, and Hope

November 22, 2024

The Shalom House meeting held in Caesarea on November 22, 2024, was a heartwarming gathering celebrating a unique initiative and honoring Holocaust survivors. It hosted the Dental Project and a group of survivors from Netanya, led by Galina. The event was filled with gratitude, hope, and meaningful connections.

The meeting opened with expressions of gratitude to the leader of the survivors’ club in Netanya and to the Gasiorowski family, whose dedication has been instrumental in supporting these individuals. Sara Gasiorowski gave an inspiring speech about the Dental Project and its partnership with the “Jewish Voice” organization, which provides financial and spiritual support. She emphasized how special this project is for the Helping Hand Coalition, as it offers survivors the chance to receive essential dental treatments.

One survivor, Sofia, shared her story, saying: “My dental issues were worsened by previous unsuccessful treatment, and it affected my quality of life. Thanks to the project, I now have well-fitting dentures and can eat normally again.”

After a delicious lunch, the participants were uplifted by Luke Gasiorowski’s singing and his reminder from scripture: despite rising hatred against the Jewish nation, there is hope in the prophecy that all nations will come to honor God and His people. Essie Gasiorowski added her beautiful voice, bringing joy to all.

The event concluded with a heartfelt performance by Uliana Istaev, including the Israeli national anthem, fostering unity, gratitude, and hope for the future.
