On March 13, 2025, the Shalom House in Caesarea was filled with joy as a special Purim gathering coincided with Bozena Gasiorowski’s birthday. The event welcomed a group of Holocaust survivors from Netanya, led by Milla Kornikh, who came to celebrate this meaningful occasion.

Bozena warmly greeted her guests, who expressed their deep love and gratitude with heartfelt blessings and birthday wishes. In a touching tribute, Tatiana Modylevskaya recited a poem in Polish, honoring Bozena. Smiling, Bozena thanked everyone and invited them to enjoy a festive meal. She blessed the food, while Alona Lerrer and Uliana Istaev lifted spirits with Purim songs. Eliada Vashenboim added to the joyful atmosphere with melodies in Yiddish.

The afternoon continued with reflections on the Purim story and its timeless message. Alona Lerrer shared:
“History moves in cycles and repeats itself, even today. Many ‘Hamans’ have tried to destroy Israel, yet they have never succeeded because God is with us. Israel has experienced countless supernatural victories. As long as the One who neither slumbers nor sleeps watches over His people, we will prevail.”

As the gathering continued, a deep sense of peace filled the room. The group was uplifted by lyrical songs performed by Uliana, bringing the celebration to a heartfelt and harmonious close.
