February 2nd, 2026 – Together with the municipality of Lod, and Mayor Ya’ir Revivo, hundreds of wheelchairs, canes, walkers and eyeglasses were donated at the Lod community center, during the mobility and eye clinic, taking place from February 1 to February 5, 2026.

On the first day already, over 200 residents were blessed with glasses and mobility equipment, and now that all is set up, many more will be receiving on a daily basis.

This special initiative is led by an amazing team of 25 specialists from the United States who are coming to Israel to serve the community. Over these five meaningful days, around 1,000 residents of Lod are expected to be examined and receive assistance completely free of charge, most of them Holocaust survivors and senior citizens.
