September 11th, 2026 – Members of the “Children of the Holocaust” group from Maalot-Tarshiha were warmly welcomed by Alexander and Cecilia Dietze, their children and friends at Kibbutz Ein HaShofet.

The survivors expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the wonderful hospitality, delicious food and a beautiful concert in which children of all ages took part. They especially remembered the harmony of the children’s voices and the beautiful music of the string orchestra.

“Every meeting with you is a great joy for us. We deeply appreciate your care, your help, your kindness and your compassion.”

The group wished the Dietze family and their friends good health, happiness, prosperity and strength to continue their meaningful mission, concluding with a traditional wish for a good inscription in the Book of Life.

A beautiful day of music, friendship and genuine connection — and another reminder of how much these personal relationships mean to Holocaust survivors.
