October 5, 2026

On 5 October, after the season of the biblical holidays, Shalom House in Caesarea welcomed Mila Kornish’s group from Netanya, including 14 Holocaust Survivors, for an outdoor gathering in the beautiful garden. In her opening greeting, Bożena reflected especially on the Feast of Tabernacles, meaningful for Israel and for the nations, who come even now as a prophetic sign of the day when all nations will worship the King in Jerusalem.
Her words flowed naturally into Andrzej’s warm introduction of the guests from Poland, who had come to Israel to celebrate this feast. Their presence beautifully reflected the message of the day: nations coming with love and respect to honor the God of Israel. As Andrzej shared old photos and memories from Poland, the Survivors saw that this was not a formal visit, but a meeting rooted in real relationships and shared life, which they deeply appreciated.
The Polish guests then shared short personal testimonies, each expressing love for Israel and gratitude for the Jewish people. Pastors Zygmunt Karel, Bogus Rudnicki, and Stefan Smigiel spoke of more than 50 years of ministry and many years of praying for Israel, expressing how deeply grateful they were to now sit together with Holocaust Survivors.
Another Polish guest, Jacob Pinkas, shared how God had rescued him from rebellion and the clutches of death, while others spoke of discovering Jewish roots, visiting Israel for the first time, and being part of fellowships that honor Israel and celebrate the biblical holidays.
After the testimonies, Bożena connected the joy of Simchat Torah with the spirit of the meeting and invited Uliana to lead happy and joyful songs. The joyful songs spread through the garden before lunch, and the meeting closed as a beautiful time of fellowship, honor, and connection
