Making Things Straight

March 29th, 2017 – Holocaust survivors from Kazir and volunteers from Germany and U.S. came together at Caesarea Villa. The volunteers prepared lunch and set tables outside in the warm afternoon weather. After sharing the meal, survivors told their stories in personal conversations with volunteers, using hands and even feet where language was not sufficient. One German young man from March of Life shared the story of his family in the time of WWII and the silence his family kept for years about their involvement. The survivors were very moved and thankful for the honest and straightforward testimony.
