Something to Celebrate

July 30th, 2017 – The Shalom Club of Holocaust survivors from Belarus in Netanya faithfully meets twice a month. There is always nice food, singing and of course dancing.

At this meeting the survivors celebrated birthdays of those born in July. And of course there was dancing. This group just likes to dance every time they meet! Because Belarus survivors are part of a larger Belarus immigrant community, there are always many younger people at the meetings – the age of their children and grandchildren. These survivors believe that being active keeps them alive.. There is always something to celebrate, and most of all – life!

We wish all our celebrants a very happy birthday!!
