January 20th, 2022 – Bustan Ha-Galil boarding school received top quality sportswear clothing for their residents and students, many of whom come from very difficult socioeconomic backgrounds. Oshri Levi, local educator, said we have no idea how blessed the local underprivileged youths feel each time Helping Hand Coalition for Israel visits and brings amazing donations from GAiN Germany. Many of the youths studying at the school, participating in sports and training programs and living in the school do not have enough to afford nice sportswear or even shoes, and greatly depend on donations during the period of their studies. The boarding school mission is to provide the young ones with all the tools and opportunities that they were not given by their own families to succeed in life and leave this place with a clear vision and direction for their lives.

Sportswear was also donated to the Kalanit center located in the heart of a local underprivileged neighborhood of Kiryat Motskin (Haifa surrondings). Irena Livshitz, Head of the Aliyah department in the municipality, was very grateful to be getting the precious donation and said that the goods will be a blessing to many youths and new immigrant families in need, as well as elderly.

A huge thanks to GAiN Germany for shipping such high-quality goods and to our local partners Joseph Project for handling all the logistics of bringing the precious donation into Israel. Amazing team work!
