April 4th, 2024 – “…WE ARE BARELY BACK IN OUR HOME AND ALREADY HHC/GAIN IS HERE, VISITING US AND BRINGING US FINANCIAL SUPPORT, WE ARE SO GRATEFUL FOR YOUR LOVE AND CONSISTENT SUPPORT,” – these are the words of survivors of the Holocaust from Sderot who just recently returned home after being away for almost half a year. The elderly were so happy to be receiving financial support, just few weeks away from the upcoming Passover Jewish Holiday, which hopefully they will celebrate in their hometown.

Many other evacuees from Sderot, who are still staying in hotels in Eilat, Dead Sea, Tel Aviv, or temporarily living at family members’ homes till the war is over, also received the donation of the grocery cards for shopping.

As we are approaching the Passover Holiday season, many more WWII Refugees from Netanya and Ofakim are receiving financial support from their German sponsors for purchasing groceries this week. All these donations and blessed distribution of financial aid are made possible thanks to the generosity of hundreds of German families donating through the GAiN Sponsorship Program and through the Helping Hand Coalition who deliver the support to the elderly nationwide.
