April 28th, 2024 – There is almost nobody left in the town of Shlomi (northern Israel), where Yefim and Elena were evacuated from. They were living very close to the border where the Hezbollah terrorist missile launches take place. To this day, their city is still under constant daily rocket fire.
Soon it will be half a year that the poor elderly have to live as refugees in their own country. They are currently renting an apartment in Haifa with their family and have no idea when they will return to their home. Helping Hand Coalition for Israel brought a gift of grocery cards to this couple, who are also survivors of the Holocaust, to help them cope with their expenses.
