June 4th, 2026 – Beloved Leader of the Kiryat Bialik Holocaust Survivors Group

Today, we mourn the passing of Igor Borisovich Becker, Chairman of the Kiryat Bialik Holocaust Survivors Group, who left us at the age of 94.

A respected community leader and honorary citizen of Kiryat Bialik, Igor Borisovich dedicated many years to serving Holocaust survivors and preserving the memory of the Holocaust and World War II. He established a memorial museum in the local hostel and authored several books devoted to remembrance and education.

Until his final days, he remained actively engaged in helping others and strengthening the survivor community he so faithfully served.

On behalf of the Helping Hand Coalition (HHC) family, we extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and all members of the Kiryat Bialik Holocaust Survivors Group.

His legacy, leadership, and dedication will not be forgotten.

May his memory be a blessing, and may he rest in peace.
