July 1st, 2026 – More financial support in the form of gift grocery cards for shopping brought to Jessica, who became a widow after the October 7th events.

Jessica is a resident of Kfar Aza who was until last year evacuated at the Shfayim hotel in central Israel. While there, they were moved into different living quarters several times.

In the winter of 2025 she moved back to Southern Israel after over a year of being evacuated. She is currently living in a small mobile home/ tiny house at the Ruchamah kibbutz, near Sderot. This, too, is not permanent, while the government is helping to rebuild Kfar Aza. But Jessica and her children feel safe here, where many other residents of Kfar Aza are housed as well.

This past year has not been easy, and she more than appreciates the support and care that she has been receiving.
