July 9th, 2026 – In the midst of challenging times, dozens of WWII Refugees from Or Akiva and survivors of the Holocaust in Sderot have been receiving financial support from their German sponsor for in the form of gift grocery cards.

The survivors always look to these meetings because in addition to the cards, they get hugs and support from the Helping Hand Coalition team and time to share a few things about themselves. These visits strengthen relationship between two sides and supply moral support to the survivors too.
