July 12th, 2026 – The Domari gypsies have been living in Jerusalem area for hundreds of years without being officially recognized by the Israeli government. Living mostly around the Old City and Shufat, they have adopted much of the local culture and live a non-nomadic lifestyle. The Domari work to empower their community and are appreciative of the help that they receive.
