July 13th, 2026 – Holocaust Survivors living in Dimona suffered much harm and destruction during the last war with Iran a few months ago (some of their stories are on the blog). And yet when Helping Hand Coalition team came with a visit, the elderly met us with smiles and warm greetings.

This donation of hygienic products is much appreciated, as they are pricey on the market. Here is a letter of appreciation from Elena who heads the survivors’ organization in Dimona:

On behalf of the members of the Dimona Holocaust Survivors’ Association, I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the leadership, staff, and volunteers of the Helping Hand Coalition (HHC).

We are deeply thankful for your unwavering care, compassion, and dedication to the well-being of Holocaust survivors.

The medical supplies we have received from your organization are of tremendous importance. This much-needed assistance has improved the comfort, mobility, and quality of life of many elderly survivors in our community.

Your support is far more than practical aid—it is a powerful expression of love, respect, and solidarity. It reminds our survivors that they are remembered, valued, and never forgotten.
