My name is Rachel, 52, a single mother of five children, three of whom are dealing with medical disabilities and complex mental conditions and a difficult financial situation.

I am also raising my granddaughter, a sweet and special girl, who is on the autistic spectrum.

I take care of her with full dedication, without any assistance from her biological mother who is dealing with personal issues.

My son Barak, 29, was abused at the age of 17 and since then has been repeatedly hospitalized in a suicidal state with hanging attempts, underwent surgeries due to the abuse, turned to drugs to forget his pain, is currently in a ward at the Psychiatric Hospital, undergoing rehabilitation due to double morbidity.

My son Daniel, 28, was previously an athlete and stronger than average, suffers from schizophrenia and severe and complex neurological problems, is confined to a wheelchair and bed, in a nursing home and underweight, his condition is defined as terminal.

My son Maor, 23, suffers from severe epilepsy, depression, underwent CPR, was sedated and ventilated, and was required to undergo surgery that is not included in the list of subsidized treatments.

My daughter Maayan, 17 years old, studying at a boarding school for gardening and landscaping, majoring in theater and is very talented.

My son Lior is a 14-year-old student, excels in his studies, is talented in singing and soccer.

I am also raising my granddaughter, Miel, a sweet and special girl, who is on the autistic spectrum.

I take care of her with full dedication, without any assistance from her biological mother who is dealing with addictions. Unfortunately, I do not receive benefits or support for her, despite my full responsibility for her, for all her needs.

I myself deal with medical problems, fibromyalgia, back problems, high blood pressure and more.

I live on a small disability pension and deal with a heavy mental and physical burden, while taking daily intensive care of my children and granddaughter.

Haifa – Gift Grocery Cards for the Disabled and Underprivileged

December 8th, 2023 – Many more disabled individuals, single parent underprivileged families, new immigrants from Ukraine (who escaped the war two years ago) and cancer survivors received financial help in the form of gift grocery cards for shopping, thanks to the generosity of the GAiN Germany team who brought the special funds during their recent visit in Israel.

The donation brought so much hope and joy to the lives of each person helped. Most of the individuals helped struggle with sickness and/or handicaps that hinder them from having a job, and live with tiny pensions that barely cover the rent. Especially in these difficult war times.

African Refugees in Tel Aviv Receive Clothing Donation

July 11th, 2023 – Many African refugees individuals and families in need from the south Tel-Aviv difficult neighborhoods have received high quality clothing, as well as jeans and casual shirts. Jeremiah Dairo, local community leader, was grateful for getting the precious donation and being a part of blessing many youth, underprivileged families and African refugees in need.

Donations to Druze Community

July 5th, 2023 – Helping Hand Coalition for Israel delivered top-quality clothing to the small town of Dalyat Al Karmel near Haifa. The Druze Association for relationship, education, and culture, under the leadership of Ex-Knesset member Dr. Akram and his team, are dedicated to serving and training their local community, underprivileged families, orphanages, lone soldiers, and women who struggle to find work in their community, with many of their families living on only one salary. The local foundation team was very happy with the donation and said that the top quality shirts, tank tops, polos and jeans will bless hundreds of individuals and families in their community and surroundings.

A huge thanks to GAiN Germany and ESPA Foundation Poland (Fundacja ESPA) for shipping such high-quality goods. Amazing teamwork!

Quality Sports Wear and Clothing Distributed Nationwide

June 20th, 2023 – Right at the beginning of the summer, the municipality of Maale Adumim received amazing Adidas sportswear clothing, T-shirts and jeans for hundreds of children, youth and families in need in the Jerusalem area.

Noam Ezra, a partner of Helping Hand Coalition for Israel and local Jewish agency project manager, will be organizing a special distribution together with local actors for many underprivileged families who will be greatly blessed with the donation.

In Kiryat Gat, hundreds of underprivileged individuals and families will soon receive brand new sportswear clothing and shoes, thanks to GAiN Germany. Together with the « Kulanu leeman kulanu » local foundation and the Jewish Agency, Helping Hand Coalition will soon join in distributing the beautiful donation to many single mothers, new immigrants from Ethiopia, the former USSR, and local neighborhood residents living under the lines of poverty in Israel. Kiryat Gat is the 4th poorest city in Israel.

A special thanks to Yigal Weinberger, head of the local foundation, and to Noam Ezra, Jewish Agency project manager, and to all the volunteers who will be coordinating several beautiful distributions this next week.

In Nof Ha-Galil hundreds of new immigrant families, single mothers, youth and individuals in need received amazing sportswear clothing, T-shirts and jeans shipped by GAiN Germany. The local Gordon center is located in one of the most difficult neighborhood of Nof Ha-Galil, and provides assistance to both freshly arrived new immigrants and local residents who struggle financially.

Brand New Clothing Donation in Zichron Yaakov and Jerusalem

June 19th, 2023 – The Renanim Boarding school team in Zichron Yaakov was ecstatic to receive brand new clothing, jeans and sportswear for their young students, many of which come from underprivileged and difficult family backgrounds. The school has over 150 students and many of the younger ones (8 to 12 year olds especially) will be blessed with the special donation.

Local educator Yarden A. said that the high quality clothes will bless in practical ways the youth both now in the summer season and also when school resumes at the end of August.

The Domari Society receiving amazing sportswear clothing, T-shirts and jeans for hundreds of children, youth and families in need in the Jerusalem area. This community has been living in Israel for over 300 years, but unfortunately they do not get any aid from either Israeli government or Palestinian authorities, as non citizen residents. Many underprivileged families will be greatly blessed with the donation.

Brand New Mattress and Clothing Donations in Ashdod and Haifa

June 19th, 2023 | Helping Hand Coalition delivered 70 brand new mattresses for the Association of Holocaust Survivors in Ashdod, being a member of Helping Hand Global Forum. The market value of such a mattress in Israel is 2,500 NIS. Value of the total delivery of 70 mattresses: NIS 175,000 ($47,500). A huge thanks to GAIN Germany and ESPA Poland for shipping such high-quality goods.

The “Light in the Land” organization in Haifa was also blessed with amazing sportswear and clothing and shoes donation as well as brand new mattresses, which will help hundreds of s and individuals/youth in need, as well as new immigrants from Ethiopia, Russia, Ukraine, and recovering drug addicts.

Ethiopian communities of the Krayot and Haifa area, poor neighborhoods of Kiryat Yam and Kiryat Haim, new immigrants from Bet El congregation, Haifa, also cancer-ill children from the former USSR, street women (through the Ministry of Health Haifa) – all these different precious groups will be blessed with the donation.

Or Akiva: Renovation of After-School Center

March 6th, 2023 – Holy Ground Explorations team renovating and transforming an after school center in Or Akiva, which welcomes dozens of children coming from underprivileged families. These children spend many hours at such centers,receiving help with homework while waiting for their parents to finish the working day.

Heads of Local social services as well as their staff were inspired beyond words by the incredible work the volunteer group did for 3 days straight.

The amazing team led by Dan & Sharon Stolebarger come every year from America, Australia and Canada to bless various cities in Israel. Not only do they work for entire days at a stretch, they also finance the renovation projects they take on. At the end of 3 days of intensive work, Yaakov Israel Netanyahu, principal CEO at the municipality of Or Akiva came in person to thank and honor the Holy Ground Explorations team.

Hundreds of Families in Kiryat Gat Receive Donation from GAiN Germany

January 26th, 2023 – Hundred of underprivileged individuals and families from Kiryat Gat received brand new sportswear clothing and shoes, thanks to GAiN Germany. Kiryat Gat is the 4th poorest city in Israel.

Together with the «Kulanu le’eman kulanu» (All of us for all of us) local foundation and the Jewish Agency, Helping Hand Coalition for Israel participated in distributing the beautiful donation to many single mothers, new immigrants from Ethiopia, the former USSR, and local neighborhood residents living below the lines of poverty in Israel.

Mordekhai, a 63 year old homeless man, was deeply blessed to receive brand new shoes and clothing items and said he felt the warmth and love from the donors. Liron, a local single mother of 5, was so impressed with the quality of the goods she received for her family.

A special thanks to Yigal Weinberger, the head of the local foundation, and to Noam Ezra, Jewish Agency project manager, and to all the volunteers who coordinated one of the several beautiful distributions that took place this past week. The event also had the special attendance of Larry Williamson, President of the “Reach out America” disaster relief organization.

December 15th, 2022 – Dozens of disabled individuals and the elderly from the Domari Society will be receiving wheelchair/crutches/walker donation in the Jerusalem area.

This community has been living in Israel for over 300 years, and unfortunately they do not get any aid from either Israeli government or Palestinian authorities, as non citizen residents. Many underprivileged families, both Gypsies and from Arab background, will be greatly blessed with the donation.

Sportswear Donation to Druze Community

September 7th, 2022 – Helping Hand Coalition for Israel delivered top quality Adidas and other sportswear clothing and shoes, as well as work clothes to the small town of Dalyat Al Karmel.

The Druze Association for relationship, education and culture under the leadership of Ex-Knesset member Dr. Akram and his team, are dedicated to serving and training their local community, underprivileged families, orphanages, lone soldiers as well as offer training for their women, who struggle to find work in their community, with many of their families living on only one salary.

The local foundation team were so happy with the donation and said that with Rosh ha Shana coming (Jewish New Year), there will be hundreds of happy individuals and families in their community and surroundings.

A Great Way to End Summer

September 1st, 2022 – What a great way to end the summer and start the new school year … Hundreds of underprivileged families and new immigrants from Ethiopia living in Maale Adumim, even Victims of the Holocaust from the surrounding hostels were/will be blessed with all kinds of brand new household items for their homes, including mattresses, furniture, clothing, toys and many more goods.

The timing could not have been better with the new school year starting and the Jewish New Year right around the corner.

All the individuals and families who received the items are registered with the local welfare department and live on the poverty lines.

The Mayor of Maale Adumim, who attended the event, greatly thanked all the local actors involved, including the Jewish Agency represented by Noam Ezra, who was the event coordinator, and Helping Hand Coalition for Israel with all its partners and sponsors.
