אלפי סלי מזון הכוללים מצרכים מגוונים ומוצרי יסוד בסיסיים מחולקים בימים אלה לקראת ראש השנה והחגים לאלפי ניצולי שואה ברחבי הארץ. מאות פעילי ומתנדבי עמותת יד עזרה לישראל מסייעים בחלוקה בלמעלה מ – 25 ערים ברחבי הארץ.

 האם אכן יש בישראל בשנת 2019 אנשים רעבים? את התשובה לכך ניתן לראות בפרויקט חלוקת אלפי סלי מזון ותווי קניה לניצולי שואה ברחבי הארץ. ” אנחנו נדהמים וכואבים את המצוקה של אלפי ניצולי השואה כל פעם מחדש ונרתמים באהבה לסייע להם כי אחרת, ללא הסיוע שלנו הם לא יוכלו לחגוג את ראש השנה” – אומר לוק גשיורובסקי, מנהל עמותת יד עזרה לישראל שבימים אלה חילקה חינם לאלפי ניצולי שואה סלי מזון ותווי קניה. המבצע שארך כחודש ימים וימשך עד ערב החג התמקד ב – 25 רשויות מקומיות ברחבי הארץ ביניהם חיפה והקריות, אשדוד, אשקלון, בת ים, פתח תקווה, חדרה, אור עקיבא, מטה יהודה ומבשרת, נצרת ועוד.

החלוקה מתבצעת בתיאום מראש וכוללת חלוקת אלפי סלי מזון הכוללים מוצרי יסוד בסיסיים, חבילות שי ובהם יין, תווי קניה לרשתות המזון, מוצרי היגיינה וטאולט, כלים  מטבח ועוד. חלק מהמוצרים הגיעו באחרונה במכולות מחברת ״גאין״ בגרמניה ומחולקים באמצעות אלפי מתנדבים. בין מקבלי הסיוע גם משפחות נזקקות, אמהות חד הוריות וכן קשישים בודדים.

בסוף השבוע נפגשו 120 צעירים מגרמניה, שהגיעו לביקור ולהתנדב בישראל בהנהגת לוקה הייזל, עם שלושה ניצולי שואה, מריה, בוריס ורומן ושמעו מפיהם על קורות חייהם המרתקים וכיצד ניצלו חייהם. השלושה קיבלו מהצעירים תעודות הוקרה.

קואליציית יד לעזרה ישראל הינו ארגון הפועל לסייע לניצולי שואה ברחבי הארץ במגוון פעולות ואמצעים ובהם פרויקט בתים חמים המופעל בכ- 25 רשויות מקומיות ומאפשר לניצולי שואה ליהנות מארוחה חמה ומפגש חברתי, יבוא מכולות עם פרטי לבוש המחולקים חינם לניצולי השואה, חלוקת תלושי מזון לשימושם של ניצולי השואה, תיעוד זיכרונותיהם של ניצולי השואה, מוקד עזרה רפואית, ייזום חגיגות בר מצווה לניצולי שואה שלא זכו לחגוג זאת בילדותם, סיוע והשתתפות במצעד החיים, פרויקט סיוע לחיילים בודדים בצה”ל באזור הצפון ועוד עשרות פרויקטים נוספים.

עמותת יד לעזרה פועלת מתחת לרדאר התקשורתי במשך שנים רבות מ”בית שלום” – וילה יפיפה בקיסריה המיועדת לרווחתם ושהותם של ניצולי השואה בלבד. הוילה משמשת כמקום מפגש לעשרות חוגים, הרצאות, סדנאות, שיעורים ומפגשי לימוד, מופעי אומנות, מוסיקה ותרבות במהלך השנה לעשרות אלפי ניצולי השואה החיים ברחבי ישראל.

הארגון הוקם על ידי הפילנתרופ ואיש העסקים אנדרי גשיורובסקי ועל הניהול היומיומי אחראי בנו, לוק גשיורובסקי, יחד עם צוות עובדים מקצועי ומסור הפועל בקיסריה ובכל רחבי הארץ במגוון פרויקטים שכל מטרם סיוע לניצולי השואה החיים בארץ.

עמותת יד לעזרה לישראל היא דוגמא ומופת לפעילות חברתית צנועה וחשובה, עמותה הפועלת בשיתוף פעולה עם משרדי ממשלה וגופי סיוע רבים ומטרתה לעזור, במיוחד במקרים הומניטאריים, לניצולי השואה החיים עימנו ובקרבנו.

העמותה החליטה לאחרונה לחשוף את פעילותה במטרה לאפשר לניצולי שואה נוספים החיים ברחבי הארץ ליהנות משרותיה המגוונים ובמטרה לשפר את איכות החיים של ניצולי השואה בגילם המבוגר, הן באזורי מגוריהם והן בביקורים בבית העמותה בקיסריה.

Thousands of food baskets and grocery vouchers have been distributed to survivors of the

Holocaust across the country before Rosh HaShanah and the Jewish holidays by Helping Hand Coalition activists and volunteers.

Thousands of food baskets containing different commodities and basic products are currently being distributed before Rosh HaShanah and the Jewish holidays to thousands of survivors of the Holocaust across the country. Hundreds of Helping Hand Coalition activists and volunteers help distribute in more than 25 cities across the country.

Are there actually hungry people in Israel in 2019? The answers to this can be seen in the project distributing thousands of food baskets and grocery vouchers to survivors of the Holocaust across the country. “We are amazed and feel the pain resulting from the struggle of the thousands of survivors each time we join forces to assist them with love; because, otherwise, without our help they wouldn’t be able to celebrate Rosh HaShanah,” says Luke Gasiorowski, Executive Director of Helping Hand Coalition for Israel. Today, HHC distributed free food to thousands of survivors of the Holocaust and grocery cards. The campaign, which lasts for about a month and will continue until the eve of the holiday, focused on 25 municipalities across the country, including Haifa and the Krayot, Ashdod, Ashkelon, Bat Yam, Petah Tikva, Hadera, Or Akiva, Mateh Yehuda, Mevaseret Tzion, Nazareth, and others.

The distribution is coordinated in advance and includes the distribution of thousands of food baskets that include basic products, gift packs that have wine, grocery vouchers for food chains, hygiene and toilet products, kitchen tools, and more. Some of the products have recently arrived in containers that were sent by Global Aid Network Germany (GAiN Germany) and are distributed with the help of thousands of volunteers. Recipients of this support include needy families, single mothers, as well as lone seniors.

This weekend, 120 young people from Germany, who came to visit and volunteer in Israel, met with three survivors of the Holocaust from a hostel in Ramle. As they spoke to the survivors, they learned about their fascinating lives and how they were saved. The three survivors received a certificate of recognition from the young Germans.

Helping Hand Coalition is an organization that works to help survivors of the Holocaust across the country through a variety of projects. One of these projects is the Shalom House Project, which operates in some 25 local authorities and allows the survivors to enjoy a hot meal and social gathering. Other projects include: imported containers with clothing is also being distributed for free to the survivors, distribution of food coupons for the use of survivors of the Holocaust, documenting survivors memoirs, operating call centers for medical help, initiating Bar Mitzvah celebration events for those who were not able to celebrate it during their childhood, assistance and participation in March of Life, projects for helping lone IDF soldiers in northern Israel, along with much more.

Helping Hand Coalition has been operating under the media radar for many years, working in a beautiful villa in Caesarea designed for the welfare of the survivors. The villa serves as a base for dozens of meetings to tens of thousands of survivors living throughout Israel. Lectures, workshops, classes and study sessions, art shows, music, and culture are all hosted at the villa during the year.

Dr. Andre Gasiorowski, chairman of Helping Hand Coalition, founded the organization with other co-founders from the USA, Germany, Poland, and the UK. Day-to-day management is done by his son, Luke Gasiorowski, along with a professional and dedicated staff working in Caesarea and across the country in a variety of projects designed to assist survivors of the Holocaust in Israel.

Helping Hand Coalition is an exemplary example of humble and important social activity. The organization works in collaboration with many government ministries and aid agencies as it aims to help, especially in humanitarian cases, the survivors of the Holocaust who live with us and among us.

Helping Hand Coalition has recently decided to unveil its activities to enable more survivors of the Holocaust living across the country to enjoy its diverse service and to improve the quality of life of survivors of the Holocaust in their age, both in their residential areas as well as by visits to the Helping Hand Coalition Villa in Caesarea.
