June 5th, 2020 – A day before the Jewish celebration of Shavuot (Feast of grain harvest), a nationwide distribution of brand new walkers and canes has begun. Over 160 WWII Ghetto survivors from several different cities will be blessed with the great donation.
The medical/mobility equipment was purchased by the German organization “Back to Zion”, thanks to the generosity of Christians from Germany.
Already the cities of Jerusalem, Petach Tikva and Kfar Saba have received the donation. (The young lady in one of the pictures brought the walkers to the Jerusalem elderly homes, which are still in partial lockdown).
Today Ghetto Survivors from the city of Ashdod received the pricey donation.
A huge thanks to “Back to Zion” for blessing Survivors of the Holocaust in such times.
