February 16th, 2022 – More single mothers from Haifa, Nof Ha-Galil and Ashdod received financial help in the form of gift grocery cards, thanks to the generosity of local Israeli sponsors of Helping Hand Coalition for Israel. Single moms have been hard-hit by such a prolonged pandemic period, having to cope with children out of school for weeks at a stretch, shortage of work and rising prices. It is heartwarming and encouraging to see local sponsors sharing with them in spite of their own limitations.
