November 8th, 2023 – Thanks to Helping Hand Global Forum partners, Helping Hand Coalition for Israel was able to bring financial support to 12 widowed ladies – terror survivors from Kfar Aza – who faced the horrors of October 7th, 2023. All their husbands were killed, and one of the widows is currently among those who were kidnapped by Hamas and taken into Gaza.

All these widows’ homes were destroyed by the terrorists, and they are still waiting to receive any financial support from the government. One of the widows said it was the first time she received such a particular attention and concrete financial donation for purchasing groceries herself. She thanks Global Forum partners for both their thoughtfulness and for the gift grocery cards.

Dafna was there during the horrors of that dark Saturday; she survived, hiding in the bomb shelter for 16 hours with her three daughters; they were released by the army in the evening. Her husband was killed in the fighting to defend the kibbutz and the families living there.
