November 14th, 2024 – Thanks to GAiN Germany, and together with the municipality of Ashkelon, the Jewish Agency, and local community center leader Shai Damto, hundreds of new immigrant families from Ethiopia have been blessed with brand new sportswear shoes and clothing, as well as regular clothing.

Shai, who runs the community center, said that after such a difficult year, the donation couldn’t have come at a better time for the local families, helping them cope with difficult times due to the war, rising inflation and prices. He added that some of the goods will also bless underprivileged children from the Tsipora and Rambam local schools.

A special thanks to GAiN Germany from Tomer Glam, mayor of Ashkelon who couldn’t attend the distribution but sent his team to help with the coordination of the event. And said how much they appreciate Germany shipping such precious goods, thus blessings many Israeli families.
