Beit Shemesh | Financial Support for Roaring Lion War Victims

March 25th, 2026 – Despite a robust system of missile defense, warning alerts, sirens and shelters, Iranian missiles have struck multiple positions across the country.

The largest death toll was in a strike on March 1st, that targeted a residential neighborhood in Beit Shemesh, killing nine Israeli civilians and injuring many.

Together with the municipality of Beit Shemesh, Deputy-Mayor Moshe Shitrit, Chairman of the World Zionist Organization Yakov Khagoel, Eyal Attias and Noam Ezra, project managers, Helping Hand Coalition was able to deliver financial help in the form of grocery cards to dozens of war evacuees and families who were directly affected by the missile hit.

Several of the individuals who received the support have lost a relative in this recent event, or experienced serious home damage or injuries.

Beit Shemesh is number two city in Israel with the lowest socioeconomic standards.

There will be many more individuals who will be receiving financial support.
