On June 4, 2026, the HHC headquarters was transformed into a music hall for a group of Holocaust survivors from Netanya. Galina Moiseyev brought the group to enjoy a special concert by gifted composer and violinist Ruth Fassal, a devoted lover and supporter of Israel.

Ruth shared her personal journey of discovering that she was, in a way, a modern-day Ruth. She described how she said “yes” to God’s call to love and serve His people in Israel. She has composed several pieces based on verses written by children in the ghettos during the Holocaust, and these works have been performed in Israel and around the world.

Beyond her music, Ruth shared that her deepest desire is to comfort and bless Israel because Israel has become her people, and the God of Israel has become her God. As she played her violin and sang for the survivors, the emotion in the room was unmistakable. Tears filled their eyes, and their faces reflected deep joy and peace.

Another dear guest at Shalom House was Alexander Dietze. He shared joyful news about his family: his newborn son had entered the world just three weeks earlier. Alexander spoke about the story behind his son’s name, Rafael, meaning “God heals.” He shared how his own life became a testimony to God’s healing and how his son’s name now carries special significance.

The evening continued with a delicious meal, dessert, and heartfelt fellowship around the table. It concluded with a group photograph, preserving memories of an evening filled with music, love, and blessing.
