July 8th, 2018 – A family of 6 came from San Antonio, Texas – United States – to Israel to volunteer one day of their holidays to serve 19 Holocaust Survivors from Natanya.
Some members of the family were in tears hearing the survivor’s stories and receiving the gifts the group brought to them. Also, the leader of the The Return Center and his family came to participate and serve in this Shalom House. It was a special moment was when he was playing the guitar and singing with one of the survivors.

During this time together, the group of survivors from Hadera several times showed their gratitude to the volunteers and to Helping Hand Coalition for Israel (עמותת יד לעזרה ישראל) for putting together events like the Shalom Houses and bringing volunteers from all over the world to meet with them and to serve them.
